I hereby apply for the position of English teacher as advertised on the Premier ESL Recruiting website.  

I have over 14 years of customer service experience which has taught me among other things: effective communication, problem solving, decision making, attention to detail, patience and understanding.  Having worked at the biggest and busiest airport in Africa, dealing with people from different countries, cultures is just the tip of my work experience.  

I do not have teaching experience in the formal sense but I was what we called a "craft champion" which was on the job training for new colleagues.  It consisted of assessing people's understanding of the job, practically and theoretically so I have a bit of understanding of assessing people's grasp and absorption of information.  

My work experience is coupled with qualifications in the Social Sciences field which also explores the understanding of humans and their social standing in society.  I have no doubt that this experience would make me the ideal candidate for your school.
